The Price is Wrong: Prize-winning Wage-and-Hour Practices

Thursday 9:15 – 10:15 AM

Session Description

When compensating your employees, there is no room for error under the Fair Labor Standards Act. You have to know the rules of the game because plaintiffs’ attorneys and the Department of Labor have their hands on the buzzer. In this interactive game show session, we will discuss how to handle wage-and-hour issues such as travel time, properly calculating overtime using different pay rates and bonuses, dealing with employees who work remotely, classification, and other pay issues.
